Starcraft 2?

I had a contest in a group of mine at school, and since it mostly entails us being in events that take place at separate times, we could have time to relax or play. There were a few kids who took their laptops and were playing Starcraft 2. I saw how similar it was to Warcraft 3, and decided to buy it. I'm still a bit new, but does anyone want to play with me? After all, they do have a co-op game mode in it...

Tried out all three races so far, and I've taken a liking to the Zerg...

Also, Starcraft does indeed have a free-to-play where you can only play as Terran, and activating or buying the game off of Battle.net makes it into the Standard account. Also, Parz, I do have two guest passes for Starcraft, so if you want to try it out, ask me.

Also, Starcraft does indeed have a free-to-play where you can only play as Terran, and activating or buying the game off of Battle.net makes it into the Standard account. Also, Parz, I do have two guest passes for Starcraft, so if you want to try it out, ask me.

Nice! We gotz another Starcraft fan! And really? Zerg? I'll admit, theyve been seriously downgraded since the first game so now i cant even play as them. Kudos to you. My laptop might slow down the game at times but im open to going co-op. zeldafreak1 is my username. (XD) I can only really play as protoss but i can hold my own against 5 other medium AI opponents.

You need to be fast to effectively play as a Zerg. If you don't have a high apm you can forget about being a good Zerg.

You need to be fast to effectively play as a Zerg. If you don't have a high apm you can forget about being a good Zerg.

Also depends on how good you use the Creep, since Zerg units move faster on it. Plus, using it to block expansions against Protoss and Terran players is also a plus. Also, if I really feel like being sluggish, I play as Terran too, especially since they're good at walling off the entrance to their base with two Support bases and a Barracks. Their units are also quite funny if you click on them multiple times, especially the Ghost and Thor.

I cant tell you how many times people have beaten me primarily because i couldnt expand bc of creep. but my favorite character phrase is: "I am here. Click me!" XD God the Thors have the funniest things to say. "It followed me home.......Can I keep it?" (Tychus in the Odin)

Indeed they do, and the voice actor makes it perfect! So many people say it's Arnold Schwarzeneggar who voice acted Thor.

My favorite though, is from the Ghost: "Whenever I see a world untouched by war, a world of innocence, a world of lush forests and clear rivers... I really just wanna nuke the crap out of it!" I also find it funny that, on Youtube, they have all the units' quotes in videos of their 3D portrait, and they even have them for the units that don't speak anything (like the Probe, the Hydralisk, and the M.U.L.E.)
